여러 사정상 슬라이딩쏘가 없어 테이블쏘로 긴 부재를 재댄해야 할 경우 마이터게이지나 썰매지그를 만들어 사용하는게 일반적입니다.

이런 지지대가 있다면 포터블 타입의 작은 테이블쏘로도 작업의 능률이 매우 높아질 것 같네요.

테이블쏘 측면 지지대 

테이블쏘에 지지대를 추가하면 긴 부재를 절단할 때의 스트레스가 해소됩니다.

 

I love the mobility and power of my contractor’s saw. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. But the setup does have some shortcomings, mainly when working with long boards or plywood. There’s just not enough support for my liking when making these cuts. To improve on this, I built a sliding wing that attaches to the guide rails of my table saw. The whole system is made of plywood. The front arm glides in and out of the attached front tube, while the rear arm combined with a piece of aluminum angle straddles the rear rail. The two arms are tied together with the plywood wing end.

나는 내 작은 테이블쏘의 이동성과 힘을 사랑합니다. 난 그걸 무엇과도 바꾸고 싶지 않습니다. 그러나 이 테이블쏘는 긴 부재를 작업할 때 몇 가지 단점이 있습니다. 긴 부재를 자를 때 내 마음에 드는 지원이 충분하지 않습니다. 이를 개선하기 위해, 저는 테이블쏘의 가이드 레일에 부착되는 슬라이딩 날개를 만들었습니다. 전체 구조는 합판으로 만들어졌고 앞쪽 각재는 테이블쏘에 부착된 프론트 튜브 안으로 들어가고, 뒤쪽 각재는 알루미늄 각도와 결합되어 리어 레일에 걸쳐 있습니다. 두 각재 끝은 합판으로 함께 연결 되어있습니다.

 

 

 

 

The aluminum angle that’s attached to the rear arm has a strip of nylon tape for smooth operation (left detail). The front arm has a groove in the bottom to allow clearance for the fence bolts (right detail). Both arms have a threaded rod epoxied into the ends to attach them to the wing end with knobs.

뒤쪽 각재에 부착된 알루미늄 각도에는 부드러운 작동을 위해 나일론 테이프를 붙여 줍니다(왼쪽 세부 정보). 앞쪽 각재에는 밑면에 홈이 있어 펜스 볼트 간극(오른쪽 세부 정보) 조절이 가능합니다. 각재 양쪽 끝단에는 나사산 가공을 하고 노브를 이용해 결합합니다.

 

 

 

The plywood wing end is slotted to allow for adjustments in height as the wing extends.
