문을 장착하는 작업은 생각보다 어렵습니다.

손이 2개인게 아쉬울 때가 많죠. 하지만 이런 지그를 사용한다면 간편하고 정확하게 문을 고정할 수 있을 것 같습니다.

캐비닛 도어를 고정하는 작업은 때때로 저글링 작업이 될 수 있습니다. 여기 그 문제를 해결하는 지그가 있습니다.

 

I always seem to need an extra set of hands when I’m installing cabinet doors. As luck would have it, nobody ever seems to be available to help. Instead of waiting for someone, I decided to create a jig to hold the doors while I install them. In order to attach a door, I first mount the hinges on the door and then capture the door inside the holders. I can then position the door and use the two knobs on the support column to move the door to the correct height and lock them in place, as shown above. The jig has the added benefit of working as a board jack to help support long work pieces.

캐비닛 문을 설치할 때 항상 추가 손이 필요한 것 같습니다. 아무도 도와줄 수 있는 사람이 없어 누군가를 기다리는 대신 문을 고정하는 지그를 만들기로 결정했습니다. 문을 부착하기 위해서는 먼저 문에 경첩을 장착한 후 홀더 내부에 문을 고정합니다. 그런 다음 문의 위치를 지정하고 지지 기둥에 있는 두 개의 손잡이를 사용하여 위와 같이 문을 올바른 높이로 이동하고 제자리에 잠글 수 있습니다. 지그는 긴 작업물을 지지하는 데 도움이 되는 보드 잭으로 작동하는 추가 이점이 있습니다.

 

 

As you can see in the drawings above, the jig is easy to build with a few pieces of plywood. There are two adjustable holders that attach to the support column. You can build the jig for any size of cabinet door. For heavier doors, you may want to modify the jig by making the feet wider for better support.
